No camera on your phone? (Obviously it's too late at this point, but still)
Yeah... d'oh.

Yeah, I can't figure it out. I'll leave that to the local law enforcement and our insurance adjuster.
Psst. You guys should try the chat room.

maybe, fluffy, but it has been the only chat we've had that enjoyed any regular use for any extended period of time. some stuff just works, and doesn't need updating.
(That is to say, duh, I know that, and I've always been championing using IRC rather than retarded things like web-based Flash chat widgets and so on. I just don't feel like getting onto IRC right now.)
roy - sorry to hear about your wife's grandmother.
We play a lot of board (and other) games. We were trying to have a game night last night, coincidentally, but it turned out we had a previous engagement and had to postpone it (boo!).
I've played a bunch of these.
Carcassonne - I love building the board. We call this "the dude game".
Pandemic - we played this over New Years with my friend that now lives in CA. We all died. It's very difficult.
My favorite one lately has been Pillars of the Earth - which is based on a Ken Follett book about building a cathedral, but doesn't require reading the book to enjoy. You have to manage your resources, hire craftsmen, send workers out to procure raw materials, build cathedral parts, and handle unknown events... it's a lot of fun.
Tikal - this one is I think my wife's favorite. You have a bunch of dudes that you send out into the jungle to try to uncover temples and dig up artifacts but other players can come along and steal your temples if you don't protect them. It's all about using your dudes to your best advantage.
Puerto Rico - so many different ways to succeed in this game. Different buildings and crops and such, it all seems very balanced.
On the not-really-board-game side, I totally love Boggle. I could talk a lot about games but I just realized it's after 10 and I didn't leave for work yet.
