It's kinda like when you're around someone else's five year old, and they're running around shouting "LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME!" and "YOU'RE A POOPYHEAD" and "I'M THE BEST AT EVERYTHING" every three seconds because they're so desperate attention... any kind of attention. And the last thing you want to do is actually GIVE them any sort of attention when they're like that, because that's just going to reinforce their behavior. *shrug*
