Maybe you just need more Apple gear, and to render all your songs in Quicktime... and write your song about iPods, and then put your song on an iPod and mail it to Spud. Maybe.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

I've got a pretty sweet tune in the making, but I've got nothing for lyrics thus far except for 'SOLD OUT!'. Maybe I can get through the whole song using just those two words.

Yeah but I'm already doing that. I've spent around 3k already this year.

Steve Jobs requires more tithes!! MOAR TITHES to pay for his liver transplant from years of binge drinking!!!

Okay, so my song's done except for some minor tweaking. I really have no explanation for it, though. None, whatsoever. You're going to listen to it and be like, "What the hell?" and I'm going to be like, "It wasn't me. It was Weird Al and Lars Ulrich submitting under my name."
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

I have mine written. A good thing would be to have someone help me with vocals. But I have to wait for that.

Waiting sucks.
Gimmie one good reason not to do it.

God I really jumped too early on this one. My entry sucks and my singing is just about awful. Oh well, now I know to use wisely your allotted time.

Hello from the factory!

Myself and Bohick Adams met up at our plant manager Ron Cleveland's house this weekend to submit our entry! His wife was off with her boyfriend this weekend so Bohick and I had a bunch of time to make our song sound a lot better. Also, I played guitar this time and Bohick played bass. Now, I know that we just started here and that most people probably wish we'd go away, but Ron thinks that with the economy the way it is, the Ensemble will great to pick up all our spirits. I guess until the plant gets bought out and we all get laid off.

I know that people were complaining about the singing being terrible on our first attempt and I agree! Takeshi was terrible. The other day we found out that our receiving dock manager Geraldo Sullivan has a mighty set of pipes on him. We hope he's better than Takeshi. Also, Ron's son Billy Cleveland had a metronome that we could use during our recording! Now we actually might sort of be in time.

We hope you don't hate our song.

-Dan Djuraczowskivich

P.S. Buy our wheelbarrows.
There's 2 of us that use the account.

Although I do not encourage the clogging of the mailbox, the reality is that we post the latest one we get that comes in before the deadline. When saving the attachments, the latest overwrites any earlier submissions.

Well, lyrics have finally come together, and if all goes according to plan I'll be recording drums (real ones!) and vocals (real ones too!) later this evening.

gotcha. Sorry, the first time I read it, what I got from it was "Just append [each of] them ..." which didn't seem like it would solve the problem at all.

Oh, I thought you were playing "grammar gotcha" or somesuch. My original was a joke, anyway, although I'll give props to anyone who actually does submit a 12 minute epic.

zomg $3k so he can go blow a robot.... i spent $300 upgrading my recording rig (after my last entry's catastrophic reaper fail) and it's already proved it self far more worthy than it ever needs to be... sometimes i play portal while i'm rendering... just because i can.

i'm totally in this week if i can get my vox done tonight... i won't lie, i've got some tight beats laid.

Kinda bummed. I have a wicked instrumental that just needs vocals, and it ain't going to happen. I've tried like 7 ideas, and nothing sticks. Apparently, my walls are poo proof.

Anybody want to do some last minute rock vox?

I'd be glad to give it a last-minute shot, but I can't guarantee anything. I can do legitimate music, I promise :P

I'm in, but it's pretty lo-fi. I recorded guitar and vox at the same time, which was a first for me.

ps - now I get to write a paper for my morning class tomorrow. Good thing SF's my priority, right?
