Weekend 04/18 and 04/19

Post by Billy's Little Trip »

So, you thought you were going to sneak by, heh? Not on my watch Mr!!

Question of the weekend - Are you doing good or bad in our Effed up economy?
QOTW - I'm managing, but the fun money is being saved just in case.

Game of the day - Say something about the person above when ever you post.
...don't worry, the weekend is almost over.
GOTW - No one is above me yet.

QotW: I'm working for a bank that needs a lot of help collecting on defaulting mortgages. They need all the help they can get, so I ain't getting canned anytime soon, and overtime is unlimited. I'm relatively happy right now.

GotD: BLT's fingers actually never stop "typing" unless he's playing guitar. That's why his post count is so high. He just finds a way to channel all those uncontrollable finger motions.

Busy weekend - yesterday my girls played on a slip and slide in the foront yard al day - and I did some piano shopping with my bro. Today we went to the local classic car show (it was hot outside) and to an impromptu bbq gathering. Not to mention getting my nur ein round zero song done.

QOTD: Doing alright - I am a public school teacher with 15 years. It's a seniority type situation.

GOTD: I have really enjoyed getting to know "Jon" the last couple of months through he IRC - super nice guy.

QotD: I'm doing okay. It's rough but at least the job is secure.

GotD: Looking back on the Nur Ein, many positives come out of doing this. One of my favorites was getting hip to Ross Durand's music. Before Nur Ein, he was not a blip on my radar. Afterwards, he had star status.

^ The mastermind behind Nur Ein. Forces musicians to push themselves and dive deep and yank their creativity out by it's balls.

I hope he finishes his sangwich before giving those bjs... and no onions dude.

QotW: I'm alright...
GotD: Reist used to host 55 minute frenzies that I am horrible at, and he has recently recovered from a slight multiple personality disorder. Edit: He apparently has shagged Sir Elton John, but I don't like rumors.

Ujn has a cool first name...and a horrible band name that makes me wonder what kinds of red flags it raises when I download a Cock song on my work computer.

Drc: Had a pretty cool weekend, which involved a lot of backyard campfires, acoustic guitars, and beer. Sunday night, an old friend who I was in a band with years ago dropped by, and brought some beverages which require a bottle opener. I offered to open his drink with a Bic lighter rather than go back in the house to get an opener. Here is some advice which can save your eyeballs: POINT THE BOTTLE AWAY FROM YOUR HEAD WHEN DOING THIS. It went off like a bloody gun and the cap nailed me right in the eye socket. I am thanking my lucky stars I still have my right eye, it bled and left a bruise (I didn't get a shiner, but it almost looks like it) Made for some cool "You should see the other guy" stories at work today :)

Qotw: meh.
Gotw: Niveous once shot a man in Reno... just to watch him die.

Yeah, that's kind of a turn off to the chicks. But hey, at least your "eye socket" is ok. :P
