QOTD: So what did you do today?
Laid sod in the backyard, had a short but strangely productive band practice where we completely succeeded in not doing anything for Fortune Cookie (not that we'd planned to, but...) and now it's gone from sunny to hailing outside. Fucking Oregon, heh. Dig that thunder...

Re: 2May2009
Truly beautiful weather. Wow. Saturday morning house cleaning. Hair cuts for the boys (myself included). Ran around in the park. Bike riding with Jason. Game of pick up baseball. Simple dinner in the works. Planning Free Willy screening tonight. Then maybe some music. Maybe.

Re: 2May2009
Ran on bids from about noon to 6:30pm. Now I'm gettin' my drink on and plan to start on a goofy theme song for my Cluster Fudge site using a poem that one of the members wrote. It will involve a number of the members recording hoots and hollers with "who knows what" as long as they can get me a .wav or mp3, I'll make it work.
Also, on the second anniversary of SF's daily roll call, I implemented the concept to my other site. I know that SF copied the idea from other sites, but I gave a shout out to Song Fight for the idea. I'm going to name it something else, but members are still giving ideas.
Also, we figured that murders and hookers are doing so well with the help of Craig's List, so we too now recruit from CL and launched our ad campaign starting today with this banner.

QotD: Repaid my friend the favor of helping me move last weekend, by helping her move this weekend. Then hung out in her new place, which is a little smaller than my new place, but she doesn't have as much stuff as I do, so it feels bigger.

Re: 2May2009
For shitz&giggles. I mentioned our cF "ad campaign" up tharr ^^. It really doesn't matter if it generates traffic or not. It's really just for our own amusement. We will be using as many free intertube services as possible and archiving our ads. It's really more of a fun thing for the members to make ads, banners, etc and put them out in the world. I'm trying to come up with different ways for the cF community to interact and get involved in site events, even if they are silly and pointless.
Orange County CL ad > http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/grp/1150762980.html
Las Vegas CL ad > http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/grp/1150738507.html
I know no one cares, but if I don't maintain my annoyance factor here, someone will steal my position.

Re: 2May2009
I misread that as "musicsexfoodncats" which is something I'd be more interested in.
Consider a better font and color scheme.

Re: 2May2009
Cats, lol.
I should add a cat section for lolcat pics. Yeay, that's the first of many to come. It's the teaser ad. Notice it doesn't say Cluster Fudge. Just my slogan and the addy.
