Theme Sidefight?
I'm not srue how busy you all are... but I need a... favor?
My video enterprise, if you will, needs a theme song. And who better to ask then a whole bunch of songwriters. I thought it might be interesting for some of you, if there was a side fight made out of it. I'd like to use the best, or well, one of the songs as a theme for the news clips we do.
I'm not sure if it sounds like something any of you would want to get in on, and I realize I have done nothing to make any of you owe me a favor or consider doing it. But eh... well, tell me what ya'll think and many thanks for even reading this, whether you consider or not.

Explain this video based enterprise and what our theme song would have to sound like, if you please.

Well, we do news like productions. So these are usually played throughout our school district and comunity. That means something lively, Something that you wouldn't mind waking up and turning your TV on to at 7:30 in the morning. If you've ever watched any news show they have a little them song thing going on at the beginning while they play their intro graphics. That's the idea here. So, clean, no swearing, lively but not excesive.
If there is anything else I can clarify I'd be glad to.

From the man: ok, Im the video editor for this enterprise we like to call "NNC Productions," here's a little history to maybe help you guys. We started out making some videos for school projects and used the CNN logo, but flipped it horizontally, then used the beginning of the lobby scene music from the matrix for our opening. Well, as time went by, we started bigger and better projects, so we figured that we needed to get our own theme song and logo. Here's where you guys could help us out. We have been intrigued by the talent here and thought maybe you guys would help us get a nice sounding intro/outro song/tune for our videos. What my thoughts for actual specs of he song are a quick, catchy beginning, maybe 5-20 seconds, then maybe continue (use the first bit for an intro, then use the whole thing for outro/credits). I thank you for any help you are able to offer. Also, as for the sound, or type of music, I was thinking of something techno-ish or synthisized, but we're certainly not opposed to other types.
Me again. starfinger (erhem no caps) are you the man we need to talk to?

I think mr IYH was suggesting that starfinger is the undisputed king of theme tunes, having two crackers nailed down in songfight history, both of which would stylisticallay capture what you're after.
I concur that starfinger could not make a hash of anything he turned his starry finger to, creatively, and therefore i second the motion.
