DRC: Long day at work. Nothing too stressful, just long. Tonight I have a date with a glass of bourbon and the final mixing for "Framed".
QotD: The boards have been pretty silent lately...a new fight is due tomorrow, yet the pre-fight thread has 3 posts and last fight's review thread is still on the first page. Where the heck is everyone?

I'm still hobbling about, and my son has had a fever the last 3 days. A kid in his school has H1N1, so he has to stay home 7 days after the fever. So, I'm working from home as best I can, but now I'm coughing. IS THIS THE END OF THE WORLD? Oh yeah, there's already a QotD.

I went to New Orleans for two days to see my brother graduate from high school. Didn't bring my computer. Didn't have time to finish this week's song either. Next week should be doable, though.

qotd: Been busy with work and comics. Had some ideas for the fight but definitely no time to do it. Oh well. Trying to focus enough on old songs to practice for SFRR, finding that hard to do without anyone on backup (normally I'd use my loop pedal but I am specifically trying to avoid that). Maybe I'll just arrange sketchy live versions to play against, since that'd also make it easier for other people to learn the songs karaoke-style.
And yeah it's goddamn quiet here lately. Maybe it's summer vacation for a bunch of the kids and the adult/breeding fighters' kids?

QOTD: All the forums I whore frequent seem to be dead. Must be that time of year when people want to actually go outside of tHe doors, not much unlike bears after a winters slumber.

QotD: still out on my retreat. I'll be taking the weekend off of taking time off, so I may happen to at least submit to the next fight.
