friday 19 june 2009, salvation?

Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

friday 19 june 2009, salvation?

Post by ElaineDiMasi »

Made a decision this summer to take a Berklee Music online course in arranging. Formally, "Contemporary Styles," and informally, "how to write the groove." I think the syllabus says, study samba and funk, learn how to arrange the drums, bass, guitars, and keyboards, and write a bunch of 8-bar grooves for homework. This starts in a week and a half and I am psyched! because I know that this is something I'm bad at.

QotD, anyone else planning to receive (or as in my case purchase) salvation from above this summer?

Well, a private CPA swooped in and saved me from my hellish old call-center job. So that's something of a salvation.

Well - it's not summer, it's winter.

But it's looking more and more likely we'll be back living in Australia by summer.

Praise the Lord!!!!

We're going to Israel this summer, so I'll let you know if I hear the lord while in town.

No, you're thinking of Johnny Cashpoint dancing on stage at the Sidewalk.

A trip or two to the Salvation Army might be in my future this summer.
