Today I finally got around to getting my California driver's license. Of course it takes a few weeks to receive it in the mail, and they invalidated my old Washington license. So now I have no picture ID aside from my passport. And tomorrow I travel to Chicago for my grandpa's 98th birthday. Oops.
Also the lady at the DMV decided it would be a good idea to 'fix' my ATM card by taping over the magnetic stripe. Which of course makes it completely unreadable. And I'm out of cash. Oops.
