It connected to the media alright but then I got:

I am wondering whether it is the brackets in the file title that is causing computers some confusion? Maybe not but I don't recall coming across any other mp3s with brackets in the title, and I guess there might be a problem with that...

Thanks Starfinger for covering one of my all-time favorite songs. I know it's guitar heavy and you're not a guitar guy but you still did it justice. Thanks.

marcus kellis....vocal intonation issues aside, i give you an A for effort. good job on a pretty tough tune to sing and play together (i've tried to cover it).

SONIC EXPLOSION
Just finished listening to all of these....... & I think I'll do it again (hopfully TVIH's will be fixed.)

My favorite so far (other than the gift to me) is Glenn Case - very, very classy man. And I also don't like Euclides (that guy is a jerk.)

I also though JoS's was very cool. Didn't believe it was him until the piano came in a little later.

Good Job everybody! And like always, the best songs were the ones that the donors claimed 'I suck, etc.'

Thanks, bolio, I'm glad you didn't hate it. I really tried to do well with it; it's probably one of the most straight/mature things I've recorded to date. So... maybe with a lot more practice I'll be good. That was take thirty or something, God, it was hard to get something perfect with me not messing up the lyrics or the guitar.

Abom - this is like Hansen doing XTC, I love it! Total head bopping. Ending is super.

Jim - yeah, what he said. This is the side of you I knew was lurking waiting to jump out. I know this is probably "experimental" in that regard, and I'm not sure this is what I'd want a lot of, but the excercise itself is a success.

Yah, so at this point y'all don't need me to tell you how rockin'ing these songs are. One of the awesome things about the GOM especially is that it seems to produce the best stuff, top to bottom. I put all the songs out so far (minus a few that I'd already heard) on one CD and drove around listening to it this afternoon and there isn't one song I didn't want to hear again-- how often do you get that out of a regular songfight?

I really went all out on my cover, I really wanted it too be good. For a songfighter and musician as good as wreckdom I decided this shouldnt be one of my half assed songs. I dont know if I succeded, but I did have fun with some new vocal effect generators and filters. HAPPY GOM. I'm off too look at the page and see who covered one of my songs.

Wow, that is amazing. Truely impresive Heuristics, I really dont know what kind of insturment that is. Makes me wish I had a flying carpet and hooka, filled with mercury and tungsten.

Not a Caravan Ray request - from the title it sounds like a song I wouldn't want to hear the original of, let alone a cover

still haven't heard them all yet - but the Primative Screwheads certainly nailed (I'm) Stranded. To me, that song is all about the raw energy - it's obvious you guys heard it the same way and reproduced it well.

At first I was a bit taken aback by the American accent singing an 'Aussie rock classic' - but it sort of sounds like Chris Bailey was sick, so Ed Keupper called up Jello Biafra and said "... hey Jello, come and sing a song for us" and Jello said; "Sure Ed, can I bring my harmonica!"
