Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

October 6, 2009

Post by Niveous »

It feels a little weird doing this so I'll keep this short and sweet. I'm going to be away from SF for a while. A lot of things have happened in the past few days and none of them good. It's been a very tough time. I've got a few projects on the table and it would be best if someone took up the reins. It's early October, so that's about the time to start the GOM. There's another project, those who are in it now what I'm talking about. Someone should run with that.

Goodbye for now.

Here's to hoping for better days.

Good luck with everything, Niv. You'll be missed here while you're away.

Has anyone been designated to take the reins on the alluded-to secret thing or GOM? Or is Niveous fishing for volunteers? Kind of hard to tell.

We'll miss you, Niveous! I hope everything turns out for the best!

Good luck Niv

Come back soon

I'd like to look after the secret project - but I will be offline for a while too. Moving out of my house today and heading back to Aus later in the week. I won't be back with a house and computer and stuff until mid Nov or so. If the secret project is still secret then - I will take over. But if someone else takes over before then - PM me for my contribution

I won't volunteer for GOM - but I'd hate to see it not happen - I will definitely contribute

Damn, dude, I hope you feel better soon.

I would definitely like the secret project to come to fruition as well. I'd hate to think that it never gets completed. I'd be happy to step up for now, although I'm not particularly good at whip-cracking either (plus I'm probably over-committed on projects myself). I think if you just PM the whole list with what has been submitted so far someone will be able to take over.

I think the GOM isn't that much work, is it? Mostly matching up the coverers, until the thing comes due. I can help out with that, I think.

I know I haven't been around to work on some things we have been talking about, Niv. But I hope we can get back to it when you're feeling better. Good luck, my east coast brother from another mother.
