I'll put in a vote of liking for this new name. It's short, it doesn't make reference to diseases or bodily functions (AFAIK 
), and it sounds like a bunch of other things - Thurmond, Herman, theremin, merman, German - which'll make it more likely to get stuck in people's brains. I look forward to listening to the album.
