I know, but I just don't feel right about not capitalizing his name. He's way too important to me not to give him respect. If I personally get his written consent or at least a verbal nod that it's ok, then I'll start performing anti capitalism on a proper name.

First of all, Spud, I commend you on your strength to not point out that anti capitalism isn't anarchy against the capitalizing of words. And second, that a verbal nod is an oxymoron.

But I have to ask. Because of the fact that I started the sentence with the word fluffy, should it or should it not embrace the capital F?

....and one more thing. ....hmmm, well I can't remember what the other thing I was going to say because I'm a little fdrinked at the moment, but when I think of it, I'll be back! Oh yeah, I'll BEBACK!

I have run into this problem myself. I always solve it by reworking the sentence (or post, as the case may be) so that fluffy is not the first word in the sentence.
