Sorry to pick nits but wouldn't the filename be "yourbandname_whf.mp3"? (Unless the title is supposed to be "Welcome Back, Frank"?)

Re: Frankly, my dear, this is a prefight
I've got this really synthy electronic project laying around that I might tinker with to make this song. I used to work with a guy named Frank.

I'm working on an homage to one of my favorite ween songs, frank. It's not turning out well, and the malt liquor isn't helping. don't know if I'll actually submit or not.

Well damn. I wrote this song with the idea that Frank should be a turtle (but also worded strategically so as to imply a man named Frank.... until the last couple of lines where he gets run over). 4 completely different versions of the song later, I'm giving up. I liked each version when I wrote it, but upon reflection a day or two later, I didn't, so why bother, right? If anyone actually wants to hear them, LMK.

I'd like to hear all of them, just to see how it evolved. Would be interesting.
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style.

You should enter all of them, each other a different band name. (Perhaps, all synonyms of "wages").Wages wrote:Well damn. You should probably just enter them. I wasn't going to enter mine, but I haven't done this in a while.... and the final mix actually made me vomit. (mickey's helped too). If that ain't great song writing, I don't know what is. You're all welcome in advance.

Re: Frankly, my dear, this is a prefight
The only topic I could think of was welcoming Frank Luntz to hell. And really, he doesn't need any more publicity.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.
