No, no. He stated in the GOM thread that he's out of country for two weeks. That's just my lame humor falling flatter than usual. Albatross is wonderful.Spud wrote:Are you asking him to leave? I hope not.

Re: The Great Big Songfighter Birthday Thread
Youse guyz r teh r0x0rzzz.
It's true, on Saturday I leave for a two-week business trip to Holland. Our parent company and one of our sibling companies are based there. So I'll mainly be working, and the rest of the time I'll be wondering if I should actually do all of the sordid things you can legally do there. But I doubt that the company would let me expense that stuff...
Ah, QINDARKA. The Q-without-U word list is one of the very first ones you learn when you play Scrabble seriously. We throw around the likes of QI, QAT, QANAT, QAID and TRANQ by sheer instinct. And also the words where the U does not come after the Q, like SUQ, BURQA and UMIAQ. But ultimately, all of the words containing Q up to about 6 letters are golden. I played QUAD for 97 points once.

Still waiting for that dream bingo that hits two Triple Words while placing a Q or Z on the Double Letter. Someone once scored 392 points that way with the word CAZIQUES...
