I am finishing my song off this weekend. However, I may not be able to join the Stiffee Rescue Club like last year. Bummed about that, as it's for a good cause, sorry Ross. Anyway, I'll be sending my gift in by Monday! :)

I started my GOM with a bang and got sidetracked from the holidays. All I need are vocals and some guitar re-work which will be done this weekend.

Man, you sing better than most of the people here. You might not be the best technical singer but you usually have a good enthusiastic performance that works well with the song, and you have a pretty good vocal range on top of that.

Man, this GoM has been a journey. Before I got my list of songs, I was all like "I'm going to challenge myself. I'm going to cover whichever song on my list I like least! I'm going to do the one everyone will least expect me to do!"

Well, the song I liked the least on my list (and probably also the one people would think me least likely to cover) was one that I could barely stand to listen to. But I still didn't want to be predictable, so I thought very seriously about attempting to mash up two of the songs on my list.

In the end, though, there's one song on this list that seems to have been put there just for me. Like "Here's three songs I like, and then just in case Jon Eric gets this list, I better throw this one in there too."

And in the end, I said screw it to all my ambitious ideas. I'm doing a pretty straightforward version of that one song, because it plays to my strengths rather well. So I took a lot of effort just to decide to do what I'm already good at. Oops.

Here's hoping the assignee likes my rendition of the song. Should be in tonight.

When will submissions be posted? I PMed my submission to my applicant early because I figured that there was no reason to make him wait for some of the slackers.

So the deadline is tomorrow... is it a particular time tomorrow? I can have mine done between about 6pm and 7pm CST. Probably not sooner. :(

Paco, the only place you suck is in your own head mate. I always look forward to your submission and whenever I try to challenge myself I look for your stuff. So Fluffy should get a free beer for being the supportive fan.

By the way thanks for taking care of my submission Bill. Much appreciated.

I received mine from Signboy and it rocked!!!! Thank you Signboy, you really did a nice job and I was truly impressed.

And thanks to Swillington for accepting my gift. I had a blast doing it. Laughed my ass off really.

Alright, back to reality. I'm still out there somewhere. Stay safe and rock on.

I'm in. The song should be submitted within 10 minutes. Sorrys go to my giftee for providing the predictable G&G tune. I hope you will still enjoy it. If anyone has a hankering to re-do this with me (ergo, provide a karaoke track to the feel of my entry), LMK.

never mind - fluffy beat me to it. Wish I knew you were working on it, wouldn't have spent the redundant time.
