It's not for deep linking, etc. It's for selling digital OR physical product. They're also starting to offer vinyl and merch.

I do recall it was nice an easy to set up. I suppose it is a good place to keep stuff so you can tell people - "if you want to hear my songs - go here.....". I never got around to setting it up so I could sell stuff. I have been pretty happy with CDBaby as far as that side of things goes.
