"Let's Get Bloody"
"Please Stop"

...

All I can say is "Keep All Your Promises" would have fit well after this week's songfight instead of two weeks earlier.

Shit. And just just as I was putting the finishing touches on a song called "Don't Stop"
I've got a better idea. You go in there and talk to him. I'm going home. http://www.facebook.com/#/pages/REFLEKT ... 011?ref=nf

I've got a demo for "Please Stop" in my FAWM collab thread. It might be something on of y'all will want to work with me on. I CAN probably record it to a beat. :)

I didn't think I'd be in this week, but in a moment of inspiration I realized I could turn my Reaper/Reason/Rewire learning project into an entry. I haven't uploaded yet -- still a few days for tweaking.

In, with a surprisingly lighthearted-sounding song considering the guitar is downtuned to CGCFAD.

I'm really hoping to make a decent recording today for this. If not, I may have to wear an imaginary dunce cap. :)

WTFBBS is back bigger and (hopefully) better. This time with 3 members! Yes, we added one. Expect all future WTFBBS entries to have 3 people on them.

So while I wasn't looking Mister Mann churned out a nice indie electro-pop ballad. I'm so proud of him. Can't wait to hear what you all think.

I'm in! The track is uploading right now.

Prepare for shock and awe as I momentarily step out of g'n'g and enter the wonderful world of looped drum beat and multi-track recording. It's a brave new sound. My "Please Stop" is recorded to a beat, so if anyone becomes interested in remixing it, I can send Audacity files or WAVs of each individual track.

Damn.

I finally get back into the ring by way of collaboration in a pretty kick-ass track, then I learn it has to go up against one of your masterpieces.

Damn.

well, here goes nothing. Got my track in today. I got lost in the mix as usual and ended up not accomplishing all that I had set for goals. ie a rhythm track that isn't just a non changing drum loop, a quality guitar solo. etc. and ended up over analyzing the mix which ended up worse then when I started.

On the bright side. I actually completed an entire song (I now have two entire songs under my belt in the 3 years since I started to dabble in audio. I blame it on my 3 year old and recreational drugs ), wrote actual lyrics, and learnt a lot in the process. So this site has already proved its motivational worth to me. Now to actually get good at doing this sorta thing..

She is.

She has no problem in the 'boys' department.
