I tried to watch a bit of this, but the guys are so slow and rambly I got bored. I suspect these guys are legit, and that whatever knowledge they have they want to share with you. I'm just not sure how smart/experienced they are in recording. It wont hurt to try and learn as much as you can though. Check out Ronan's Recording show as well. I know this guy is a pro. Super nice too.

ps - I checked out RonansRecording, and his backing tracks sound far more professional than the tracks on the other channel. I like it much.
