I didn't really mean to do it this way again, but it kind of comes down to tomorrow morning. We'll see what happens.

Actually, I might still be in. I've shortened my song significantly, and may be able to finish it before I have to leave for work tomorrow.

first time posting, or contributing a song... hopefully i submitted it correctly. this seems pretty sweet, and i am looking forward to being torn apart. however i do hope someone enjoys it a little, and i look forward to putting more songs up in the future. having only seen the title one day before the deadline, i kinda threw this one together over a groove i had been working on. anyways, please don't hold it against me, and expect a much higher level of work in the future.

good luck all

I tried to make something for this fight and it was to be my glorious return to rap but in the end, i couldn't come up with anything i liked.
I'll try again next title, so titlemaster come up with something for me.

Hoglen and I wrote a tune, but didn't have time to record it. Besides, we didn't feel super stoked about what we had done, and if we feel that way, y'all probably will too. If we get it recorded later on, I'll post a link out of compulsion.

Bachelor Police are in. Since songwriting was left up to me, we lost the blue-garage part of our sound and basically just ended up indie-punk ala Weakerthans. Here's hopin someone digs it and I'm looking forward to all the constructive feedback you guys give.

In, which makes three fights in a row for KA... not sure when the last time that happened was, but I think it's been a while.

Sound effect burgled from the lyricburglar (hmm, what rhymes with "part" ???) Volume may be a bit low; the normalizer in my .wav editor program normalizes each track separately, and that would have thrown the overall balance way off.

Spent the last hour trying to put it down, bit off more than I could chew in terms of arrangement so I'm really far from thrilled with what I put together but, god dammit, I put it together. I think I sent the email correctly and everything this time, too, with several seconds to spare.

Yeah, this is the first time in over a year and a half that I've done two in a row. ("Love Me a Little Bit More" and "Back from Juvie," for those of you keeping score at home).

I had some of the same time-crunch problems as Josh, but instead of compromising on the arrangement, I decided to shorten the song. I think the song came out stronger for it, though it's the shortest song I've ever completed.

I guess I can go more into that in the review thread.

See y'all in the ring!
