I was in a ninja gang a few years ago. We'd go and stand in front of shop windows so no one could see in. Then we'd fight the other ninja gang what ripped us off and weren't even ninjas.

You see, I had a great idea for 'Fell out of the Sky' - using this mp3 someone sent me of the Huygens Probe landing on Titan as the percussion track, but sadly no time. So if anyone wants to use the idea, it's all yours ...

There are some that are longer, some that are shorter. It's somewhat unpredictable. But the deadline is part of the game.

I just moved and my recording stuff isn't set up yet, so I posted some free "fell out of the sky" lyrics in the Lyrics Archive for anyone who might want to use them.

I got a Ninja Gang idea! It was born this morning in my head on my way to work. Very doubtful I'll have time to put together anything with decent production, but IMA GON' DO IT UP!

Nice. Botolph=cool.

I'm in with the SF Orchestra for Ninja Gang. Feeling pretty cool with the concept and already have one in the can for it. Mixes perfectly with the first track. Jim, Wrong Girl 11/8 or 11/4? Just curious cuz that was a challenge to find the meter you used. Very cool if that's what it is.

Really want to do one for Fell out of the sky, but running out of time and only want to submit if it's good. Thinking about going back to my acoustic roots for it. We'll see, but I'll prolly be flyin' solo if I get over this shit ass flu I've contracted. In bed today and hanging on, so maybe some virus induced fever will give me the right hallucinations for inspiration.

I got some Fell Outta the Sky up in here. Hopefully I'll have time in my vacation in California to record it. The last one I recorded in California was on my grandparents' piano -- and you know how that turned out.

My personal challenge to anyone doing Ninja Gang:

write a song that is not about Ninja Gangs.

That's from that ninja site a few posts up, which actually has little to do with ninjas and more to do with anti-gay stuff (or more accurately, anti-sissy-boy stuff). But anyway, I'm goin' to watch the game, after I skin 'n barbecue the white tail I just plugged, and maybe later I'll fuck some drunk girls. ::walks off whistling and scratching crotch::

If you are still undecided which fight to enter, please, please, please, please for the love of god, please do the Ninja Gang one. I just finished writing my"Fell Out of the Sky" and it will destroy everything in its path. I would hate for your song to get hurt by my oncoming steam engine of hellfire.

I've never been destroyed by a steam engine of hellfire before, so I think I need to enter Fell Out Of The Sky now.

My word, feels like ages since I did any songfighting. My soundcard is still at the factory, but my G4 has this built-in one. I'm in the middle of writing a tune for "Fell out of the sky". Let's see if I can manage to record something.

Better read some posts and catch up on the goss.
so . . . when was the last time you backed up?
