1620 Mackie Onyx and windows 7 not cooperating. And suggestion. Can't get drivers on line at this point.

Well, he's searched the obvious stuff already. He can't get his computer with windows 7 to see his mackie. He's gone to the mackie site to update his drivers, but the message he gets is that the drivers are not available at this time.

Is it possible that he's just going to have to run it on machine with XP and call it a day?

Edit: I just looked at the mackie site and it says it is compatible with windows 7 and has a universal driver.

I think I'm going to have to just go to his house and help him. Damn, he lives in Gardena. ugh!

No. He just bought it. Although very good with old school studio gear, he's kind of new to the DAW world. Which is more than likely the problem here, lol. It's hard helping over the phone.
