oh dear - Did you really just use the word "chicks"? When did it become 1975 without telling me?

So, my old man has a tan curduroy jacket with leather-padded elbows. He wears it from time-to-time. His take? "I've been wearing the same style of clothes all of my life. Every 15 years or so, I come back into fashion."

Use the word "chicks"? Yes, I did -and I shan't apologize.

That's fine - your opinion just ceased to matter to me anyway.

Oh noes! Some strange man on the interwebs who makes music that I don't care for no longer values my opinion!

There is only one way to resolve this conflict.

j$ vs bdog
EL DUELO (SIDE FIGHT)

You each have 7 days to complete 1 song related to this altercation. I am not making this up - these are the rules. We will convene in this thread in 7 days to decide the victor. Not posting a song will be considered forfeiting. You are fighting for your honor.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

Meh. I have no honor...only rock (though, that in spades).

I suppose, though, if I want to egg j$ on....

Relating back to this fight, here is further proof positive of beating on the guitar as an acceptable percussion substitute (amazingly, this came up whilst I was browsing for the Jack Palance clip). Pure awesomeness.

Oh my god. I have never actually won anything before. Just been unlucky. Not even in a tie.
I guess a couple door prizes. But never like, won.
This probably means that I will be hanging around more... even though I had already decided to because you are funny.
There were at least 4-5 songs superior to mine and I think I voted for several. It is the first review I have let out of my sight. Might review next round although I did not get a song in.

If you want to get technical, I'm not a chick, I'm a broad. But it's all semantics.
(I held back from a couple TERRIBLE puns there. I'm real proud).

Good job Ranger Denni! And Panna Cotta! And for all the rest...you can call me a chick - the only title that bothers me is "ma'am". For some reason, I always want to smack people that call me that.
