Round Two Challenge: "Write a topical song."

You realize you just let Ross Durand win this next round, right? :-)

The round 2 album has been posted. For the time being, in an attempt to save on downloads, you can download the album all at once...but not individual tracks. I'll set it so people can download individual tracks in the near future. Unfortunately it takes a little time for all that cash to roll in from selling SpinTunes Thongs...so I don't want to go over our limit yet. :p

Here's The Round 3 Challenge:

The only 2 people still in the contest who I know have written & recorded a rap would be Jon & Edric. Hopefully anyone else who has would just mention it, cause I can't track down every track recorded by competitors. :p

The only remaining competitors whose music I'm familiar with are Ross & Steve Durand, and Chris Cogott.

Steve Durand rapped briefly in Ross' song "Silver Tongue" for Nur Ein IV, but I'm pretty sure Ross kept his hands clean for that. To the best of my knowledge, neither Ross nor Chris have ever rapped - at least not in a publicly available recording.

Well if it was a brief bridge or something in a bigger song that wasn't a rap that wouldn't count. Rap experience was defined as having written & recorded a rap song. Not a short rap breakdown.

Sounds to me like Steve can definitely get away with doing a song that isn't about an office romance, then. :)

Hey, Spin, I know you screen comments on the blog; are mine going through? I sent one asking for an .mp3 of Edric's song, one with a set of Round 2 reviews, and one with a question about the rules.

I know I've approved comments by you in the past, but nothing recently I don't think. I approved the one about your song bio in round 2. I approved & answered one question about samples. Don't remember approving reviews or a question about Edric off the top of my head though. And no comments in my spam folder or awaiting moderation from you... So I would post them again, cause a few might not have went through.

Here's the link to the round 3 album. Right now you can only download the album all at once, but I'll fix it so that you can download individual songs in a few days.
