There's your problem right there. Always insist on a condom. It will stop your fucking ear getting all clogged up.

(Though I have also been suffering from a sinusy ear thing for the last few months on and off - I feel you pain - It sucks big time)

of course now my ear seems to be getting better on its own, but whatever, I guess I'm happy enough with my mix.

The rhyme of genus and penis has made me think that all songwriting is done and we may as well quit now and bow to the master. Yes, bow indeed.

Cock full of win. Altho I think I typed that wrong. ;)

So if anyone cares about my ear-related whining, I finally saw the doctor this morning (apparently "there's no wait" means "you'll be waiting for an hour and a half and then it'll take only 5 minutes for the doctor to actually see you") and have a rather fascinating infection in my ear canal, which prevented the doctor from even seeing my ear drum, so in any case I have lots of strong antibiotics now, and prescription decongestants. Yay!

I"m not supposed to take them until bedtime, though, and meanwhile I'm feeling too crappy to go to work so, day off, whee.

Rhyme Update. The Australian and I are sitting in a bar. I'm bragging on CRay's rhymeatude. Hubby asked:
"did he also rhyme species and feces?"
I asked if this was a Thing and he nodded with Manitude.

Why would I rhyme species and faeces? That is crazy talk.

The song was called "Billy's Little Trip Is A Cocksucker".
Not "Billy's Little Trip Is A Coprophagist"
Though that could be next week's title I suppose...

For fluffy's theme song fight, I'm doing "Caravan Ray Is Totally Gay". :P

Jon, can we get CoT2 extended one more time, like until Monday? I couldn't get the vox recorded and I'm out of town until Thursday. Unless I'm the only one that didn't get in on time, then I'll just have to eat it.

Or maybe an under the line for late entries? I'll still submit a finished song, just late.

I'm going to shoot for "on Wednesday" not "by Wednesday" but my health and my work have been conspiring to keep me late. Won't be a stiffer, and shouldn't be TOO far past the mark.. Sorry.

-- edit -- Actually, what BLT said.

The site goes live Thursday morning. Anything not turned in at that point will have a "Coming Soon!" tag, but everyone will be able to see what title you got, who gave it to you, and which title you suggested.

The remaining songs will be posted as they come in. Don't sweat it.

Sweet, I have most of the vocals done, after a frantic setup of all the recording crap. I better be finished tomorrow or I will be very disappointed in myself. however, the new Internet has not been hooked up at my new house yet, hopefully it won't be to hard to flash drive it, and upload it from elsewhere. I think this is gonna be a good one.

Hey Jon, folks.
I have to get in to sleep. I was gonna try to record tonight but if I do my recording will suck much ass. I'm exhausted just trying to hold it together. So I'm going to have to do the "sometime tomorrow" thing too; but the song is written and in my head-sound. So lots of hope for it.

It's been a rough week in Den-land. Things are going to be okay it seems though, for the most part.

Jeeze, you folks all act like this is Nur Ein or something. I trust most of you. Get it done as quick as you can, and there needn't be any drama about it.

A couple of questions.

Who Izzy, I've got the line for the title you suggested as "Title suggested by Who Izzy," and I've got your actual song credited to "MC Who Izzy." Is that acceptable?

Irwin, I've gor the line for the title you suggested as "Title suggested by Irwin," and I've got your actual song credited to Suckweasel. Is that acceptable?

And of course, fluffy. I've got your title as "Title suggested by fluffy" and the song credited to Sockpuppet. It's all good, right?

Everyone else is listed under the same name both times. Let me know if you want me to handle it differently.

Shlimminy Cricket
Noah McLaughlin
Billy's Little Trip (Monday)
Paco del Stinko
The Real Sign
Who Izzy (Thursday)
Caravan Ray
Ranger Den (Will be late; has not specified how late)
Mike Lamb (Monday)

I've looked up words I don't know my whole life, but somehow the context warned me off this one and I was able to ignore it. Then I'm reading James Lileks this morning and he uses the phrase "coprophagic child molester" (in the context of advertising, no less). So, thinking God must really want me to know what that means, I google it. And it turns out I was wrong about the God part.
