perhaps i am finding it so easy to write lyrics to this already because I was voted "Most Likely to Have a Crisis" several years running in our high school band awards banquet.

Maybe if I had written lyrics and poetry about my math homework, rather than Cute Boy Drama. Sheesh.

heh...

I'd just like to say - which ever one you chose - I won't vote for it.
I really can't imagine Bob Dylan sitting around, scratching head saying "lyrics and poetry about my math homework, or...Cute Boy Drama. Sheesh"...But I can imagine the bloke from Coldplay thinking that ...oh well.

However, Girl-on-girl action with a bicycle pump - now we're talking....I can do the sound effects!

I would like to link to a WIP of what I've got but I think the antispam would probably block it.
Anyhow, (emulated) Sega Master System it is. I don't have a flashcart so I can't play it on the real hardware :(

I have about 1:20 so far in the not-lyrics department, and 0:00 in the lyrics department (I have at least one gap where I can sing).

if you sent sound effects to THAT effect, I would feel some kind of obligatory calling to unshackle myself from my usual lyrical bondage and perhaps show less restraint in the coming melee.

I'm trying to think of how we can tie in a bicycle pump on our latest song. That might be best on your solo song.

Although....you know the center guitar I was concerned about, Dee? Bicycle pump? Performed by CR? I'm chuckling just thinking about it.

I wrote some lyrics in a blue notebook. Has anyone seen it? Buggered if I know where it is.

I haven't seen it. But don't be surprised if your lyrics show up in my song. 8-)

Seriously, though: I actually wrote a song for this one. The lyrics just kinda tumbled out of me Thursday morning on the bus. I sat down with an acoustic guitar and hashed out a basic structure Thursday evening. Now all I have to do is get it arranged and recorded...

What is this "arranged" you speak of? Don't you just bash it out on the acoustic and then sing off key on top? *ponder* Maybe I've been doing this whole songfight thing wrong!

I hate it when the music in my head doesn't match the lyrics in my head... Oh well. Another instrumental from me. Went on the metal-side this time.

That means it's either rap or one of your vocal harmony pieces. I hope it's the latter. ;)

I'm in.

BTW - it's probably too late to share this, but I am pretty sure mu brother steve used a bicycle pump as a hi-hat sound on a song for Nur Ein! A few years back where we had to have non drum percussion - maybe the title was "Let me in?"

It's not. And it's not rap, either.

PS. submitificated.

little restraint was used in my lyrics. ahem.
altho... no bicycle pumps were harmed during the making of said lyrics.

I will have to check out the Steve song. :)

I remember Steve bicycle pump in his song.

By the way, prepare yourselves for a monstrous regiment of rock from The Psychotics this week. :ugeek:
