Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

qotd: Who has a cold?

(I do)

I've actually been kinda sick since Friday but it got pretty bad Monday, so I ended up missing work this week (which was just a half week anyway, but I was hoping to get some important stuff done with these three days). I also had some sort of stomach issue on top of that. On the plus side I've lost a lot of weight, but on the minus side it's just temporary until I get my appetite and hydration levels back. Also I'm still trying to break in the new kitty, who prefers to sleep all day and then at night gets exceptionally rambunctious.

He's also quite enthusiastic in his use of the litter box, burying his poop with great aplomb (and getting litter EVERYWHERE in the process). At least the poop mostly stays in the litter box. Mostly.

No cold, but I had a really bad Flu 3 weeks ago for 5 days. I had diarrhea for FIVE days. Agh.

Whoever invented being sick, should be shot.

We're not sick, and I hope we stay well over our vacation. Get well soon fluffy!

Our cat scatters litter around when he leaves his box too. I'm thinking of maybe getting one of those big dome litterboxes so that he can't make a straight line out from the litter area, he'd have to go over to the side and go down a little ramp. I'm not sure how much that will help though.

Werner just kicks it out of the box while he's burying. A covered box would definitely work better. For now I've tried not putting so much litter into the tray though, and that's helping somewhat (but on the other hand now there isn't quite enough to cover the poo and it makes my house smell). You can never win.

Oh wow, yeah, I think covered boxes are the way to go, assuming the cat is OK with it.

Is he named after Werner Herzog? We love Werner Herzog. :)

Werner Heisenberg. He's hard to observe and when I do I can only tell where he is or where he is going, and never to any certainty.

QOTD: I came down with bronchitis the last week of October. I was absolutely miserable for a week, and then just kinda sick for four more weeks. I then pronounced myself healthy for an entire week and a half before I came down with a cold a week ago today. I'm finally feeling almost normal again.

I'm not doing that well mentally. I read a blog posting from a net-friend of mine which said "don't isolate," but to yammer on about such things is not really my style when - in every instance; talking of things has brought more trouble.
I can happily report that what did NOT bring more trouble was when King Arthur said 'Monkeys on My Rack' on the "One Letter Off" Title thread. I'd be tearing that shit up like a BOSS.

Happy Holly-days :)

I had a terrible cold and lasting cough for at least 3 weeks around Thanksgiving. I thought it might be coming back, but it might just be allergies... Hope ya'll get better before JESUS'S BIRTHDAY!

Now now now n now I'm feelin' so fly like a G6.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

I thought I had a headache a few weeks ago. But it turns out it was just my wife talking to me.
