Happy Christmas - 25 Dec 2011

Post by Caravan Ray »

Santa just landed - dolls house and boogie board delivered as requested by my daughter.

My life-size inflatable Johnny Cashpoint doll was forgotten again. I just got another squeaky Frankie Big Face toy and a vibrating BLT.

Time for bed....

If you read the fine print on the vibrating BLT, it says to be used as a back massager only and is not recommended for internal use. :?

It's Christmas eve day here right now.
I got Paco that new bike he's been begging for, with a banana seat and sissy bar. I'm sure the training wheels will be coming off soon, cause he's a fast learner.
I got DJrangerden a pony and a step ladder. But she's been drinking milk and she'll be big enough to get up on it all by herself soon.

We decided that our Christmas dinner this year is going to be a BBQ. My boys are buying everyone ribeye steaks from our local carniceria. They have the absolute best cuts of beef there that they cut it in front of you to your requested thickness AND make the BEST tamales fresh daily. They are the only place that makes tamales dulces, which has become a Christmas dinner tradition at Casa de BLT. I'm hungry just thinking about it. :)

So for us, it'll be a day of good food, new Mario bros, movies and board games. Of course I'll get some Texas Holdem rollin' and get back some of that money I spent on everyone, if my plan goes as I plan. But that depends on how much I drink before hand. See that pun? It wasn't intentional. :D

Merry Christmas everyone. I wish I could have delivered a song for this recent title as a x-mas gift to myself but it was not meant to be. I don't know if I'll ever get passed my songwriters block. Denni is the only person I've told about this, but there is a very good reason I haven't written a song since June of 2010.

Maybe my New Year's Resolution will be to write at least 1 SF song. :P
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

I wish you could come spend tomorrow with me and my fam. But they would think I'm completely off my rocker if a program writing bi-sexual person that is way more interesting than them (but not more interesting than me) that they've never met nor heard of before dropped by. :?

.....so......what time can you be here? I'm in Orange County. :P

I like cheesecake. Which is technically a pie, I agree.

I posted here shortly before I fell asleep last night. Then I had a dream you DID show up at my door while we were opening presents. My son answered the door and came in and said, dad, there's someone here for you named fluffy and he's got a cat. Everyone looked at me weird and I said, he's a guy from Song Fight and he just got a new cat. Then as I was walking to the door, I woke up. lol.

Cheesecakes are nothing like pies. Pies have meat in them.

Favorite thing about Australia: Pie Face savory breakfast pies.
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

Hope everyone survived another Christmas. Mine was very nice. I stocked up on my years worth of picks, strings, cords and a new XLR cable. Funny how bad I am about getting the simple things I need to make music. But it's wonderful having kids that know exactly my brands and sizes that I'm extremely picky about and get it right every time. :)

We had a good time drinking and eating extreme tasty noms. My special b-day boy rib eye was a bit over 3 pounds! I ate about a third of it and that's all I could eat, lol.

Oh, and I finally got corralled into watched Midnight in Paris. I've been putting it off thinking it's going to be a boring chick flick. Quite the contrary! Great movie. I highly recommend it to all here at SF, because we are all misunderstood artist here to one extent or another, so it will hit close to home.

Anyway, now it's just a count down to New Years Day. So happy happy joy joy, everyone. :)

I agree Midnight in Paris was a pretty good flick.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Got a Blue Snowball this year. :) (That sounds dirty around these parts, oh well.)

I spent kind of too much time thinking about the family members that are no longer with us, and that was kind of sad.
Then I realized that what with babies being born we have the same number of people at our gatherings and that's kind of weird.

We got a puppy! His name is Maxwell, and he's a 15lb. Dachshund/Chihuahua mix.

Been kinda busy getting him accustomed to his new milieu, but we're getting there, I think.

Max is awesome! Finally you got a dog. Just wait until he pisses you off and steals your heart. I have 7. NO I'M not a hoarder. I just heart teh aminaler family members. :)

Also, get his nails trimmed. My wife is a dog groomer and she would be bothered by those suckers. ....actually, she'd yell at you. She's a bit of a hot head as far as that stuff is concerned.
