as a Seattleite i can provide any of the following guitars to anyone wishing to travel lite.

also practice space in the living room of my house, in N Seattle.

am willing to play guitar or mandolin for anyone in need of additional players.

i might need a drummer to sit in for 1-2 songs, as i been having trouble getting commitment from any of the 3 local drummers i've been talking to.

Awesome, that's very nice of you to offer, dre. We'll at least need one acoustic guitar. I think it's good to have at least two electrics, also, so it seems like between you and rogerroll and roymond we should be good.

I assume "Hendrix-tuned" means all strings are a half-step below normal tuning, that is, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb?

Since I only live 5 miles from the venue, I can be flexible with gear. I definitely plan on bringing my electric guitar (a Fender Jag-Stang). In addition, I could bring any of the following: an Ovation acoustic, a Squire bass, or a Rogue mandolin. Also, I'll throw my assortment of lo-fi semi-functioning effects pedals and the necessary 1/4" cables in a backpack and bring 'em along. Like most Song Fight events, I do not plan on being able to safely operate an automobile after the show, so I will limit the gear I actually bring to the show to what I can lug onto a Metro bus.

I was going to put the parts in my luggage. It's pretty small when disassembled. I also might be able to find the parts list for what SHOULD have come with it although my studio is such a goddamn mess I can't make any promises on that. The only non-straightforward thing is the screws for the base, though (they're like some sort of self-tapping wood screw or something), and I do have a couple of those for reference.

Is # bringing any gear too? I'm wondering about the keyboard situation. It's handy to have either a real piano or a keyboard with a piano patch. If I recall correctly the # Nord doesn't have a piano patch. Also useful would be some kind of electric piano (bit of a pain to lug around though) or electric piano patch on a keyboard, if possible.

We will be supplying a Nord Lead 2 and a very nice weighted-keys (88 of 'em) digital piano, if needed. Sorry, I forgot to mention that.

Will there be any music stands available? I can maybe bring one with me if necessary but I'd prefer not to have to pack it in my bag. Hopefully I won't be the only one who needs to read off charts and lyric sheets. ;)
