my rock brother

I'm really proud of my brother. This is one of Vinnie Paul's old drum kits and he is getting to jam on it tonight because the bass player he's with tonight apparently used to drive Pantera's tour bus.

That's awesome! Love the deep kicks he uses. Must be like 22" or 24".

Rockin' drums set is rockin'. Also, nothing says "I am a badass" like twin kicks.

I think he thought he was going to explode or something. His texts last night were pretty comical. I think this was a Major Life Event for him. He'll probably die if he knows I put it up somewhere. Oh well. :)

also, I am babysitting his Tama Starclassic for him and some of his hardware (including a double pedal I wouldn't possibly know what to use for; so I will be keeping the HH clutch engaged!!!) I just need him to bring his kick and a couple cymbals over here and figure out how I would record such a thing with 2 inputs on an Apogee Duet. Then good to go I suppose. Eeeep.
