Anyone know any Chinese people?

Post by Jim of Seattle »

Hi all,

For an upcoming album I've recorded a song which uses some spoken Chinese recordings. Before the album is released, I'd like to get this audio translated, out of curiosty and also in case (in hopes) something offesnive or inflammatory is being said. So... does anyone know anyone who could listen to this song and translate the Chinese for me? I think it's Mandarin. It's from a record called "Quoatations from Chairman Mao Set to Music" which I bought from a yard sale in Hong Kong 25 years ago. I treasure it.
Here's my record label page thingie with stuff about me if you are so interested: https://greenmonkeyrecords.com/jim-of-seattle/

I can't make any guarantees but I might be able to help, if you send me a link to the recording. If you don't have my email just send me a PM.

Wow, that is a pretty sweet find. For some reason early communists interest me, not necessarily the people, but the agrandizing propaganda. I found a little white rubber bust of Mao at an antique shop that was made to look like a marble statue. Unfortunately, I am unable to help you with your translation.

Mo is Chinese and lives there. He's on a plane right now, though.
