A Garden of Pomegranates

Post by Geoff WreckdoM »

Hey Everybody,
For the next 4 Saturdays (2/19, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12) My band Rubber Robot will be performing after a play entitled A Garden of Pomegranates at the Scarlet Woman lodge (10500 Newmont, off N.Lamar near Rundberg). The cost is ten bucks, they will be serving Independance Ale (local microbrew) and all proceeds go to Tsunami Relief. It would be awesome if some Austin area songfighters came and checked it out, and don't worry, Rubber Robot is a fast paced INSTRUMENTAL sci-fi rock band that in no way resembles WreckdoM. Just guitar, bass, drums, and Theremin with weird costumes. Can't say much about the play as I haven'nt seen it yet, but from what I've been told it promises to be a pretty unique experience. We go on immediately afterwards for half an hour or more, depending on how responsive the crowd is. Feel free to ask me anything the following doesn't answer. THANKS!

Thanks guys! Making some nicely done MP3s and getting our website back up is very high on our priority list. I will certainly not keep it a secret when it happens.
