You'd think there must be some misunderstanding
A turn of phrase that didn't come out right
A fumbled choice of words that has no meaning
And so you might conclude there's no intended slight

Mechanically the notion is preposterous
How would it work? How would it even close?
Semantically the whole idea is crazy
They come in magazines, as everybody knows

But you weren't there, you didn't see
You couldn't know they'd go that far
I know it sounds impossible
But take it from me, they really are

The secret lies in miniaturized projection
Reducing their dimensions down to two
If you're inclined, I think you'll find it easy
The fundamental concepts will come naturally to you
