Staying on the original tennis topic, I think the best rivalry was Pete Sampras vs Andre Agassi. They were perfect for each other. Not only were they the 2 best of their era but they were complete oppisides of each other. Sampras, the quiet confident one. Agassi, the flashy arrogant one.
Federer vs Nadal could have been just as good, only they are both dull and few people care about them.

Last Sunday was the Mavericks Invitational surfing contest in Santa Cruz. The biggest swell in California and Santa Cruz's own, Peter Mel, took first place. I was cheering for our local here in San Clemente, Greg Long. Mavericks is one of my favorite surf event on the circuit.
