Starting a Witch Hunt

I'm not a racist.

But I am sick of all these foreigners in little leaky boats
who take our jobs and rape our women
And every day more come
Down to our beaches
In their hundreds and their thousands
there's so many now that we've been "taken over by this scum"

Then I heard a man on the radio.
The A.M radio
He made perfect sense to me
He was calm, considered
and completely reasonable
And from him I learnt the way we can fix our society

Let's bash them up!
At Cronulla!
They are "vermin" who "infest our shores", get down and join the fun
It is brilliant,
in it's simplicity
And like his mate John says you "just shoot one the rest will run"
http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/ ... 03153.html

Now I'm not sexist,

I don't care what homosexuals do behind their closed doors
So long as they don't hurt the sanctity of matrimony
It is a deeply held respect that I hold for the institution
and it is the only thing on which me and my 3 ex-wives agree.

Then I heard a man in the Parliament
The Federal Parliament
He made perfect sense to me
He was calm, considered
and completely reasonable
And from him I learnt the way we can fix our society

Let's tie them up!
In the dog house
Cos gay marriage is a slippery slope to bestiality
It is brilliant,
in it's simplicity
I'm so glad I have these geniuses here to think for me
http://www.smh.com.au/opinion/political ... 27nyj.html

Now when a few brave men have got the guts to tell it like it is
The PC brigade, they all get up in arms
You see it threatens their beliefs, so they pick on us minorities
And want to start a witch hunt
They want to start a witch hunt
They're always starting witch hunts
What a pack of clowns

I'm no ignoramus

But what's with these bloody Greenies and their global bloody warming
Of course it's all a sham, a shonk, a con, a hoax, a fraud
It's Communistic plot to take away my Holden Commodore
And every greedy scientist on earth is now on board

Then I heard a man on the radio.
The A.M radio
He made perfect sense to me
He was calm, considered
and completely reasonable
And from him I learnt the way we can fix our society

Let's tie them up!
In a chaff bag!
Then we'll take them out to sea and see if they can swim
It is brilliant,
in it's simplicity
And I tune in every morning to hear more wisdom from him
http://www.crikey.com.au/2012/06/15/jon ... f-bags-ok/

Tie them all up!
In a chaff bag!
Then we'll take them out to sea and watch them die of shame
http://www.news.com.au/news/jones-says- ... 6484826391
It is brilliant,
in it's simplicity
Now my thinking's done for me I don't have to think again

STARTING A WITCH HUNT
by DJ RANGER DEN

there was no need
for you to go looking
you had what you wanted
the whole time along

at the first sign of trouble
the brave soul remembers
the place where his heart
most truly belongs.

doesn't take spells to lure in
for the first taste
shrill, harsh demands usually
push them away

and nobody needs
to go enchant any apples,
or even go running
after fools on a chase

-But I guess that we
will be looking around
for blame must be piled
on our pyres
and starting a witchhunt
it seems like the way
to bind down any
wayward desires

the clock strikes thirteen-past
for you and for me
so he'll burn in your bed
and I'll burn on my tree

so drink to your sickness
and drink to your health
and then go ahead and shame me -
cause Lord knows
you can't shame yourselves...

and I guess that we
will be looking around
because blame must be
piled on a pyre
and starting a witchhunt
it seems like the way
to bind down our wayward
...desires

Starting a Witch Hunt
by Bax

thirteen days and thirteen nights
thirteen women with long black knives
they light the candles and speak the devil’s tongue
shroud in black, “thy will is done”

(pre-chorus)
cursing souls til dawn
singing the dark lord’s song

pentagrams drawn in his name
666 rock and roll’s to blame
greed lust and deviant vices
time to bleed out the sacrifices

(pre-chorus)

(chorus)
grab some torches we’ll burn them all
we’re gonna start a witch hunt tonight
light a fire 30 feet tall
we’re gonna start a witch hunt tonight
their screams will be the devil’s call
we’re gonna start a witch hunt tonight
so block your ears and you won’t be enthralled
we’re gonna start a witch hunt tonight

thirteen missing are thirteen dead
with pentagrams carved into their heads
thirteen souls to feed his appetite
it’s the dawning of the season of night

(pre-chorus)

(chorus)

Hey son where did you come from from
Nobody ever got away with what you done
Four generations, we've done our time
You come from back east and cross the picket line

Hey sister, tell me what you say
You wanna know who's loyal to the USA
I'll keep my pitchfork, and you can have your gun
We'll see who's on the stake when nighttime come

Do you like how the fires burn
Now that the tables are turned

Wait for it lads, wait for the shout
These flames will never go out

Bishop don't you tell me how to be a good man
A house built on a book is bad as one on sand
Keep your guilt, I'll keep my mind
Don't matter who you are, love is not a crime

I've come a long way, and earned my pay
I won't be pulled into the new American Way
I've got my torch, you can have your gun
We'll see who's hanging high when the morning come

"Starting a Witch Hunt"
-The Economy Biscuits

It started off with a gentleman's wager
It started of with the sound of my pager

It's the nineties, it's downtown,I'm twenty
I'm putting all those tan chicks behind me

I meet with D, she's sitting drinking coffee
It 2 am, she's writing sh*t poetry

I make a glance, she hasn't a clue
She's Ann Rice before it was cool

Red lips
Pale skin
Leather pants
What a sin
Black hair
Attitude
She's so heavy
It's up to you

I want challenge, I want dangerous game
I want a girl with a vampire name

I'm on a witch hunt, she's outside with Salems
But it's a b*tch hunt, she only loves the weird ones

Nose ring
Black nails
She's the one to break me of this spell

Love potion
Astro signs
Palm reading with blind eyes

3 kids
SUV
Organic produce
It's poetry

STARTING A WITCH HUNT
Billy and the Psychotics

Ghosts running all around
Ghosts looking for a way out of this town

Do not go snooping in the houses up on crooked hill
theres some stories that will scare your soul stock still

Starting up a witch hunt
Building up a fire
Tie 'em up! Light the match!
Lay 'em on the funeral pyre! : ||

There's a saying that no women can be trusted
you do the math and tell me how many times that you got busted

CH/BR

Do you see what I see?
I see what you see.
Fallen Angel
Rise above me
Come to meet me
put me to the question
Please believe me
for your own redemption

Once we think we've got this all figured out
let's bring this inquisition to a one horse town

Starting a Witch Hunt

john's a little different
joe's a little strong
sarah's on the elevator
full of things that are wrong

goldie's right on point again
his brother jim is back
sarah on the elevator
is reaching in her sack

in slow mo' we go
come on baby don't be shy
we got pitchforks guns and wine
drink your fill but don't ask why
we get to live, they get to die

alistair the intercom
keeps us in the know
hand grenades and heavy things
keep us moving slow

sarah holds on tight to ben
he says he feels alright
i think he might be one of them
don't let him out my sight

the elevator opens up
the darkenss takes us in
alistair is humming low
i think they're moving in

johnny starts to say a prayer
in two words he's gone
i see a flash of someone's hair
i keep on moving on

the hallway lights are flickering
nah it's just my rifle fire
a hand grenade, a barricade
of bodies growing higher

no response from alistair
they must have found his hole
but my pocket nuke is ready to roll
let's bring these f***ers home

Starting a Witch Hunt
words and music by glennny

Verse 1
Desperately seeking a scapegoat for tragedy
Hopefully finding a reason to
take them down for the crime eventually

Chorus
There’s no one to blame
But we’ve got to blame someone
Someone absconded with a valuable prize
A thief in the night that
Covered all his tracks and
Left us to wonder, “how did he just do that?”
Everyone’s a suspect, everyone had motive

Witch Hunt 1
Django stole the cookie from the cookie jar
Django stole the cookie from the cookie jar
Who me? Yes you! Couldn’t be! Then who?
Annabella stole the cookie from the cookie jar
Annabella stole the cookie from the cookie jar
Who me? Yes you! Couldn’t be! Then who?

Verse 2
Carefully checking out alibis
Spinning wheels scratching heads
Everyone protects himself and his friends
Sometimes too emphatically

Chorus

Witch Hunt 2
Kari stole the cookie from the cookie jar
Kari stole the cookie from the cookie jar
Who me? Yes you! Couldn’t be! Then who?
glennny stole the cookie from the cookie jar
glennny stole the cookie from the cookie jar
Who me? Yes you! Couldn’t be! Then who?

Verse 3
Everyone’s holding out, giving up
Learn to live, live without what we had
Have we learned not to trust each other
though we must

Chorus
Phillipso, Older Brothers, Semolina Pilchards, Zipline , Thank Glennny for the Frisbee, The Odoriferous Valley, The Worldly Self Assurance, Berkeley Social Scene, Very Gentle Knives, Daddy Bop Swing Set, GUNS, The Kraken Lives, Cavedwellers

Starting a Witch Hunt

When you’re starting a witch hunt
You don’t ask how far will it go
You just assume you know

When you’re starting a witch hunt
You don’t ask how you’ll keep control
It’s only need to know

And if you find yourself in an entirely new direction
If you find yourself floating away
You might feel today

Starting a witch hunt
Starting a witch hunt
Starting a witch hunt

When you’re starting a witch hunt
It’s just a match, an unlit flame
Until you say her name

When you’re starting a witch hunt
You only whisper semper fi
It’s hardly do or die

But if you find yourself in an entirely new direction
If you find yourself running away
You might fear today

Starting a witch hunt
Starting a witch hunt
Starting a witch hunt
