I have everything it takes except time. :)

....but one never knows. I may get a wild hair after my CoT song is done.

I got tired of having my drumming called "sloppy" (which, of course, it is) so I tried to tighten it up this week. Wish me luck!

Nope. Until today I had no voice, and with CR busy with work I have no partner, so my song about a cow, a hen and a pig debating over who is the most committed to providing a healthy breakfast for the farmer, and who sacrifices the most will have to remain undone.
The pig wins, by the way.

Sounds like an Agile programming anecdote I heard once.

Apart from having not enough time, I seem to be suffering from composer's block lately. A shame -- this was a great Easter title (and Dodged a Bullet would have been great for a song about meteors).

I am going to enter and its going to start out like this...

Im giving all my commitment and sacrifice
To the fabled three blind mice
So they can see and get a slice
From the hot azz farmers wife

OMG did I just commit lyrical genius?
A good % of people that think they are songwriters are not songwriters at all, they are confused poets. The difference between writing song lyrics and writing poetry is 3 lengths of a fool. If you don't believe me lay down and measure it sometime.

well, now I've done it. mine's tuneful, but it's another short (which I think is charming and fluffy-like, and I like that :) ) ... and is kind of gross. I also want to say that my brother is not a sicko and shall probably be annoyed when he hears it. He's having a baby girl soon and will probably teach bring her up properly, whatever that means.

No worries, I enjoyed the shit out of your submission of C&S. I think Hortus Ortus has the best song in the fight but you gave em run for the money. Both of you got my only two votes...It hurts me that I thought both of your songs were even better than mine and I so wanted to keep believing mine was the shit! I may never recover from this sadness
