4-15-13: Erasers

Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

4-15-13: Erasers

Post by Niveous »

Happy Rubber Eraser Day, a day all about cleaning up your mistakes.

QotD: If there was a company like Lacuna Inc. (from "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind") that you could pay to erase one of your memories, would you utilize their services?

QotD: No. Because good or bad, your past memories are like time travel. If you erase even the smallest bit, it will cause a chain reaction. What if there was one tiny thing in your past that kept you from becoming a serial killer, or from becoming president and then you get John Wilkes boothed? Yeah, good things could happen too, but that's boring. la dee da, now that the memory is gone of me getting caught fapping by my mom to national geographics, I came up with the cure for male pattern baldness.
See, boring.

Just want to say, if any of the Song Fight Boston folks are seeing this, I hope you're doing okay in light of this stupid and violent tragedy.

I was very surprised the day that I discovered that Americans use "erasers" to rub out pencil marks and not "rubbers" like we use. Apparently, Americans use "rubbers" for something else entirely. Weird.

QOTD: Nah. I struggle to hang on to enough as it is. Good or bad, memories help shape who you are.
Bringin' the stink since 2006.
