Nur Ein VIII - All Hail The Snake
All Hail The Snake
- The Tydon Docks
featuring the voice of Terri Irwin and Caravan Penny on backing vocals.
The part of Adam in the Garden is played by the ghost of Steve Irwin
G'day everybody
Let me tell you bout the morning
I felt a little snakey
So I went out for a crawl
I found a place called Eden
A girly named Eve
And she's the great great great
Grandmother of you all
Steve Irwin - What a beautiful snake
So I said "Oi - you there - look at me a talking snake!"
But she just scarpered off to find a shovel or a rake
But I said "You know that tree in the middle of the garden?
The Boss told you not to touch it, cos if you did you'd die
Well he was pulling your leg
It'd not gonna hurt you
It will make you just like him
Grab an apple, have a bite"
And from that moment on
You guys were mine.
You are here to do my bidding
Till the end of time
Steve Irwin: If you see a snake like this, don't muck with it. These things make me nervous
So over the years I've made a lot of good mates
Blokes conducive to listening to snakes
The was Aldoph, Mao and Joey
They were characters for sure
Pol Pot, Don Rumsfeld
And so many many more
And don't for get the ladies
Myra Hindly, Bloody Mary
Elizabeth Bathory, she was bloody scary
And one of my favourites I'm very pleased to see
Has recently joined us
Hello Maggie T
Steve Irwin: A lot of people thing snakes are evil ugly monsters that cruise around killing people. And those fangs, those fangs are like hypodermic needles...this snake here would have enough venom to kill me, and a hundred other blokes out here in the West.
So please allow me to introduce myself
A "man of wealth and taste", says my mate, Mickey J
I got handles like Mestopholes, Beelzebub and Nick
Lucifer whatever, just take your pick
Just remember there's a bit of me in every one of you
A fact of human nature that you really cannot fake
As you make your choices
I am always here to guide you
Remember one thing
ALL HAIL THE SNAKE!
The back-masked voice of a demonically posessed Terri Irwin. Mother of Bindi and Bob.

Don't use your brother to test your moves
I knew my mother would always disapprove
This isn't Caesar's Palace or the Coliseum
You don't run on regular, you take premium
When you go into the ring
Will you bring Damien?
I thought DDT was a toxic chemical
Then I found out it meant the end
Hey Jake, don't tell me it's all fake
I thought it was more than acrobatics
More than athletics, more then just theatrics
Hey Jake
Always painted as a villain
You've got evil hair, you got a car that's red
I'm gonna ride a wave to try to save L.A.
Thought you'd be taller, heard you were dead
Hey Jake, don't tell me it's all fake
I thought it was more than acrobatics
More than athletics, more then just theatrics

All Hail The Snake- Paco del Stinko with Heather Redmon
Awesome Phil Redmon plays guitar on bridge and second set of leads
Im a serpent a snake and also a charmer
When you start to sweat I only get calmer
I'll give you my kiss if I find you tempt me
I'll fill you with love but you'll be left empty
Come hither and wither and bow your head
My sinister slither will leave you for dead
oh yeah
Saddle up and slide with your smile and cologne
Pitch me relief like a Mayday Malone
You think you're a king but I'm queen of this court
I'm not naive and I've done this before
Come hither and wither and bow your head
My sinister slither will leave you for dead
oh yeah
Maybe I'm not as strong as I once was
But baby you'll do whatever I say because
You'll never be anyone else's but mine
Til I cast you aside like the cork in my wine
Oh baby
Oh baby
Et cetera
You think you're in charge but you do as you're told
Look in my eyes and give me your gold
Nicotine kerosene Shalimar leather
Worship me now before you know better
Come hither and wither and bow your head
My sinister slither will leave you for dead
Oh yeah
Oh yeah

All Hail the Snake - Frankie Big Face
(Music by Frank Caravella & Amy Wong-Freeman, Lyrics by Frank Caravella)
Hold me down
Hold me down
Let the waters press me into the ground
I feel love
I feel love
Invading my lungs
Take what’s mine
Take what’s mine
Nothing you can touch can be left behind
I feel love
I feel love
My angel has sung
Open up
Open up
Drink the poison from my gilded cup
I feel love
I feel love
I taste it on my tongue
Hail to the snake
Hail to the snake
Please release me from my greatest mistake
I feel love
I feel love
The diving bell has rung

Re: Nur Ein VIII - All Hail The Snake
there was no blindfold
but i couldn't see
there was no cage
but i wasn't free
i didn't know
what i know now
i found the courage
to pick that apple somehow
all hail the snake that helped me see
all hail misery
she was a lovely girl
i wanted to leave
we found some happiness
happiness ain't for me
she had so much faith
and i couldn't believe
she gave me everything
but nothing in that tree
all hail the snake that helped me see
all hail misery
all hail the snake that set me free
all hail misery
(IT'S THE GARDEN OF EDEN AND THEN IT TURNS INTO A METAPHOR FOR MY LAST RELATIONSHIP AND THERE ARE DUAL MEANINGS FOR THINGS)

Boffo Yux Dudes - with Momma Morgan
He's the baddest mofo in New New York
He don't mess around, he gets down to work
Pray to God he don't pop his cork
All Hail the Snake
When the world's a prison, he's still around
He'll get you to safety and party down
Puts the bad guys six feet underground
All Hail the Snake
All Hail the Snake
All Hail the Snake
24, don't get no more
All Hail the Snake
Fight the Duke, going hand-to-hand
Pliskin always gets his man
And the President lends a helping hand

Re: Nur Ein VIII - All Hail The Snake
All Hail the Snake*
by Ross Durand with Kristen Durand
(Ross played his own brass)
I guess it’s time to go
They say they’re coming in from the north
I guess this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for
I’ve got my musket and my boots
And I’m marchin’ off to fight for you
And all the things that we’ve been living for
I guess they didn’t hear that rattle as our warning sign
But if they tread on us their feet will meet these teeth of mine
You better watch where you step, George
Watch where you tread
You bet we’ll strike if we need
We’ll strike if we need
The flag we wave says, “Don’t Tread on Me”
All hail the snake of liberty
So I’m marching off to war
Like so many have before
And so many never came back home again
And we carry Gadsden’s flag
And some of us ain’t coming back
And those who do, we don’t know where or when
And I heard my momma’s words as I walked away
I’ll remind her when I come back home some day
Keep your guard up
Keep your head down
Keep a true heart ‘cause in this little town
We wait for your return
I know that what will be will be
But let my boy come back to me
I can smell the smell of smoke
After all the canons broke
But I can see our flag has still not touched the ground
So pull me up and let me fight again
They thought they had our head
But they had our tail instead
Keep your guard up
Keep your head down
Keep a true heart ‘cause in this little town
We wait for your return
I know that what will be will be
But let my boy come back to me
*During the years leading up to the American Revolutionary War, and in its earliest years, an important symbol was a coiled rattle snake with the slogan “don’t tread on me.” It existed in various forms including the official flag of the naval forces.

Re: Nur Ein VIII - All Hail The Snake
All Hail The Snake
by Merisan
Guest backing vocals by Erin's mom ("ooh ooh"s in the choruses and "all hail"s in the outro)
It was the middle of the month of June
in the middle of the darkest night.
The midway sparkled like royal jewel
the silver moon its candlelight
Up on the stage with a waving cane
Carnival Barker stepped out in style
his pocket watch swingin' from a chain,
a pinstripe suit and gold toothed smile.
Chorus
“Come on over, you won’t want to miss.
You might have seen things but you’ve never seen this."
x2
the crowd swelled against a velvet rope
change in their pockets and bulging eyes
with bated breath and puff of smoke
a silver coin let's you go inside
The fire eater and the acrobat
parted the curtains with dramatic flare
Can-can girls came out with attack
their fishnet legs flying through the air
Chorus
“Come on over, you won’t want to miss.
You might have seen things but you’ve never seen this."
x2
I couldn’t tell where it was coming from
the chanting started soft and hauntingly
I didn’t know if I should stay or run
I wasn’t ready for my eyes to see
She slithered out from her shadowed cage
her scaly skin casting glints of light
with ruby lips and a pale white face
her glowing eyes darted left and right
Chorus
"When the spotlight hits her they scream 'All Hail!'
The snake lady starts to shake her tail"
x2
I said she shakes her tail
she really shakes her tail
she likes to shake her tail
All hail the snake.

All Hail the Snake_Cavedwellers
words and music by Escandon, Phillips, and Zemanek
Cavedwellers in collaboration with Lisa Zemanek (mother of 4)
Verse 1
First of days, right this way, this will be your place
you’re sitting on the rightmost aisle
Gone away are the days of dirty inkwells.
They haven’t been around for quite awhile
Gavel falls, roll is called, bills are tabled
breaking up the endless hours debating
Mostly time spent in line at an ATM
between the parties, good intentions fading
Chorus
Hail to the snake
She who will guard the eggs of industry
Make no mistake
It is a pantomime assembly
Verse 2
you're the choice, you're the voice of your constituents
who are not admitted to the lobby
the oppressed not impressed with the procedure
you ought to find another hobby
Bridge
Monday: spoil sharing
Tuesday: change collecting
Wednesday: start campaigning once again
Verse 3
How ya been, harlequin? I like your new mask
I heard a rumor that accused you of caring
If you're betwixt or bewitched, there's a good fix
We'll just replace you with another Darren

All Hail The Snake (Carlo Bruno Jr.)
The Sayonara Mamas are: Bea, Rebeca, Paky, Suzy
Far from reality
It's not another the way I usually feel
That can explain
My pressing need to wear these skins
Jackets and underpants,
Shoes, gloves and peaked caps
Even suspenders
Perhaps today All Hail the Snake
(Chorus)
Why don't you want to be with me
You should be dazzled instead
Tell me what reasons you have
To not get the shit i´m on about
Can I convince you?
Can I have you while I remain unchanged
How do I discover
The way to make you love my smell
It's al over
Sadly, it's you or my snake leather wear
It's not my fault
Someday all would hail the Snake
(Chorus)

Re: Nur Ein VIII - All Hail The Snake
All Hail the Snake
by WreckdoM
Is there any forest dweller more ferocious than the bear?
So fast he snatches salmon as they leap into the air.
He lets out a mighty roar through sharp and glistening teeth,
Standing ten feet tall or more his strength defies belief.
All the creatures great and small fear his razor claws,
or is there someone in the grass who doesn’t care at all?
As the bear thunders past he’s careful where he treads,
He knows an offended snake could likely mean his death.
Its known that in the jungle the lion sits the thrown.
Of all the prey he dines upon there’s one he leaves alone.
Cheetahs may run faster than any on the plain,
But they can’t outrun a venom coursing through their veins.
Sharks have rows of pointy teeth and sandpaper skin,
But you never see a shark on land cause that’s where snakes live.
Dinosaurs didn’t die of meteors, heat waves, or a plague
It’s just that there were a lot more snakes way back in the day.
We love the snake, All hail the snake,
You must respect the snake, Never shake the snake.
Of all the creatures on the earth mankind is truly king,
Inventing complicated devices to kill all kinds of things.
An evolutionary marvel that was born to rule the land,
Finds a snake under his porch, he screams and wets his pants

It’s just that there were a lot more snakes way back in the day.
We love the snake, All hail the snake,
You must respect the snake, Never shake the snake.
Of all the creatures on the earth mankind is truly king,
Inventing complicated devices to kill all kinds of things.
An evolutionary marvel that was born to rule the land,
Finds a snake under his porch, he screams and wets his pants

Re: Nur Ein VIII - All Hail The Snake
He'll take you out of this world
And into another or the next
To find a truth that's simple
Where it once seemed so complex
Lay your weary head down
Into the welcoming earth
Let your skin give way
To the glory of your rebirth
Hail to the snake 2x
I wish you'd close your eyes
And reach out for my hands
I lie in coiled peace
I don't think you would understand
I'll cry your name out loud
To blot out the darkness and pain
But I've got this warm dark wave
Of venom crashing through my veins
Hail to the snake 3x
Stay around,
There is more room at the table
Every sound
Draws me further through the veil
Underground
Where the ending world can't touch us
Beyond the lights
Beyond the pale
Out of this world
And into the next or another
Where you can sing his praise
In the presence of your sisters and brothers
It shouldn't end this way
I should ignore his voice in my ears
You shouldn't be afraid
Everyone one here has mastered their fears
Hail to the snake 4x
I will crush the life
From whatever stands in my way
And into another or the next
To find a truth that's simple
Where it once seemed so complex
Lay your weary head down
Into the welcoming earth
Let your skin give way
To the glory of your rebirth
Hail to the snake 2x
I wish you'd close your eyes
