me too.
yes. it's an instrumental, and you're just going to have to cope with this. it's about being an over-stimulated fish and the title fit one of the other titles we did for a sidefight so I thought I'd try to start making a little song-set. I'm not just being lame. Triple swear. I tried a little singing over it but it sounded really ridiculous and wanted me to shut up and leave it alone.

There have been some really good on-title-subject instrumentals in the past. Obscurity's Too Goth To Rock comes to mind immediately. Fart is fart. I mean, art is art.RangerDenni wrote:me too.

On the other part of your post, I once tried to force lyrics onto a part of a song 'just to fill it up' . I even submitted it. But then thought better of it and resubmitted it without the forced lyrics. (BOTH ON TIME) I'm very glad I did that. (Honeymoon in Polynesia) So I know all about that. Sometimes you just can't force words, man.

I'm really really glad I didn't. I've already got a growing hall of cheese I don't want to contribute more to. Best to go with the gut.Hoblit wrote:RangerDenni wrote:Sometimes you just can't force words, man.

Everything Hoblit said applies here too.Hoblit wrote:*cringes at the thought of 'last minute' optional challenge songs recorded on inferior mediums.
I got mine in but I did not get as much time to produce the song as I would have liked. So the production suffers just a little but I think it is a passable work.
Looking forward to getting beat by superior songfighters coming out of the woodwork.

We may not have broken the record but what a great showing!
