Perhaps, like Art Bomb, we will get snowed under with entries.

Excellent. I've already got 30 seconds recorded and a verse and prechorus. Also, it's actually snowing here in Minneapolis, so I don't even need to use a play on words.

I have draft lyrics and music. This one is melodic, in sort of a Bacharach vein, and suitable for acoustic instruments. But it uses the following chords (shown here in chromatic sequence, not as they appear in the song):
Cm, Cm7, Cm maj7
Db
Dm
Eb, Eb maj7, Eb6, Eb+
E
F7, Fm7
Gb, Gb maj7
Gm
Ab
A
Bb
B
So now I have to learn to play it in a musical fashion. To avoid squeaky bar chords, I'm thinking of assembling the guitar part from two or three takes, each with a different capo position. I'm also having to practise the piano part. [Note to U.S. spell checkers: Get stuffed!]

If anybody out there wants a challenge, I can send my squeaky pilot track for collaboration.

Update: All the tracks are recorded, squeaky chords and all, and complete with bad drums (I'll try to work on that). We're talking loungemellow. I would never by an album by an artist who did songs like this. Hell, I don't even like major sevenths.

Upperdate: Drums terminated with extreme prejudice.

I see I'm at "Reconstruction" now. Funny, considering that in last week's fight I was urging deconstruction.

Uppestdate: I'm in, but the parts are beyond my technical abilities and it shows.

After a five year hiatus, I'm in. My brother's girlfriend is singing, and I'm submitting under a psuedonym.
