So, who watched the Grammy's last night? I haven't watched it in years, but watched most of it. I'm really happy to see Macklemore and Ryan Lewis getting the accolades they deserve. I'm also partial to Lorde, and I'm glad she won, but I don't understand why she plays with a drummer, synth player, and her own back up vocals. I mean, either hire back up vocalists or just use the tapes. Why mix it up?

I'm glad that Blurred Lines didn't win anything.

I really like Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, but I'm amazed that they beat out Eminem and Jay-Z!

I read in SPIN that they tried to keep M&L out of the hip hop voting because it wasn't rap enough. And I'm also happy to see them get what they deserved. They put out a good album in 2013. A lot of humble humanitarian felt music, even though they're not really my thing. And I don't really care for Lorde, even though she's also got the humanitarian thing going. MIA and Taylor Swift had a baby and named her Lorde. ;)

I can't believe that Rebecca Black didn't win anything with her follow up to her song Friday with her completely new creative direction, Saturday. She got robbed! F**K the establishment!

I watched the entire show, which I haven't done in a very long time. Guess to remind myself of how out of tune I am ands how much a lot of popular music stinks. I'm glad that it consists mainly of performances, though. I think my favorite might have been the country girl with the Christmas tree lights on her dress. Simple, a good story, unpretentious and melodic. Katy Perry: stunk. Beyoncé: Headcahe music. Pink: twirly lip synch and bad duet. I liked the old Chicago stuff but that knucklehead Thicke over-sang/over trilled/over annoyed. He's a lame-o, sorry. I liked the Daft Punk thing and some other stuff I can't think of.

Looking forward to the Beatles show on CBS in two weeks.
Bringin' the stink since 2006.
