Interesting. I was thinking about how mood playlists are basically radio stations, and really a lot like Satellite radio which I think is generally grouped by style or mood, so why is that not popular, but internet is, especially when you have to pay the same $10/month for the service. I think part of that is you can get free versions of a lot of it on your phone, with Satellite, you have to have an additional device. I don't know where this ramble is going, but I was thinking about it the other day.
I am not usually in the mood for an automatically generated playlist, or even one curated based on mood or whatever. I want to hear what I want to hear when I want to hear it. I suspect I will always tend to be a more active listener than the average consumer out there.
