i cant do anything but apoligize for my initial trollishness. i wanted to annouce my presence and the best way that i could think of was to post in as many boards as possible to get the most exposure. i was wrong. whoops.

I love Stawarz's switch from ghetto talk to flat, boring, gramatically correct talk. You should switch from one to the other randomly just to keep us on our toes.

Sorry if I offended, Sta. See, my confusion came when you posted the "mother" poll. "Gee," I thought to myself, "can anyone honestly think the Songfight community at large will recieve this well? He must be yanking us."

As always, the music will tell. I'll be listening to some songfight this evening if a) I have time, and b) my roommate doesn't kill me (he likes glossy studio pop).

Sarah Vowell is fantastic. I love her books, and her pieces on TAL.

I even love the song she wrote for They Might Be Giants.
