Re: Nur Ein XII - Round Three
God dammit. I'm in Japan right now so getting a song in is hard enough. Organising multiple guests by proxy is gonna be a mountain to climb, you absolute bastards.
Alright alright I'm over it. Focus! I can do this!

I was going to offer BYD to help out, since most of the previous guest challenges forced you to use Nur Ein contestants.
We'll eagerly sit on the sidelines and see how this one shapes up. Good luck!

Wheat / chaff moment. However if the consensus is this is too challenging for round 3, happy personally to make it '.. And not previously appeared on any of *your* nur ein songs'?

This struggle might make your song the best. You can do it!!!furrypedro wrote:God dammit. I'm in Japan right now so getting a song in is hard enough.

Thanks for the encouragement, dude. After my initial "logistical nightmare" moment I must admit this title is right up my alley. Lyrics nearly done, so now I must become the Quincy Jones of email. Maybe I was born for this moment.
As for the optional challenge, i'm not sure I have an energetic enough rock band on call for this, but negativity will get me nowhere!
I will also add that on top of attempting to meet the challenge I may also be enlisting guests that I have Nur Eined with before in order to circumvent said logistical nightmares. I presume this won't disqualify me and if it does I will throw down

Question: Can multiple individuals appear together in a section (essentially as one guest), as long as there is at least one other section featuring someone else?HeuristicsInc wrote:Non-optional challenge: Two or more guest vocalists, each appearing in a separate section of your song.
For example: If I have a friend who is a rapper and four friends who sing in a barbershop quartet, can the rapper get a verse, and the four singers do the chorus together? Or does the ratio of guests to sections have to be exactly 1:1?

As long as they live in Japan, yes.furrypedro wrote:I may also be enlisting guests that I have Nur Eined with before in order to circumvent said logistical nightmares. I presume this won't disqualify me and if it does I will throw down

Do not the rules for the non-op clearly state no current of former EIN participants? Then tough titty, Pedey.
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

Re: Nur Ein XII - Round Three
If I read the challenge carefully it says each guest vocalist in their own section.MicahSommer wrote:Question: Can multiple individuals appear together in a section (essentially as one guest), as long as there is at least one other section featuring someone else?HeuristicsInc wrote:Non-optional challenge: Two or more guest vocalists, each appearing in a separate section of your song.

I don't necessarily like it, but it is clear, is it not?

Yes, one guest vocalist per section. It's just whether you count BVs as 'vocals' or not. Your own individual calls, we'll decide on a case by case basis.

Re: Nur Ein XII - Round Three
So... it would be fine to submit a duet sung by two "non-Nur Ein" vocalists? Chumpy and I don't have to do any vocal work at all?

So - if I use 2 robot voices that are different to the one I used last round, that will be fine, right?

They sure do, but my previous Ein participants are not involved for the purposes of challenge completion. Merely for making a more kick-ass song.Paco Del Stinko wrote:Do not the rules for the non-op clearly state no current of former EIN participants? Then tough titty, Pedey.
Touché. I was being more than a tad presumptuous.j$ wrote:Having heard your round two song, I would say you have *nothing* to worry about, Pete

Re: Nur Ein XII - Round Three
I can read this answer in two ways, one that means "Yes, please do submit a duet sung by two guest vocalists" and one saying "Yes, please do sing yourself, don't phone this in..."Manhattan Glutton wrote:Yes, please do! Do you mind clarifying which one you meant?
