rappers not so much. They usually like to brag about their bling, what they have done, how many honeys they've scored, how much dope they've done etc etc... anything that makes them cool.
You can usually tell when they try to pass something off as real or they're just joking. I'm guessing most of those "serious" rappers (50cent type people.) are trying to convince people how cool they are. Not just joke around.
