I'll bring some spare fingers.

Content warning: gross injury stuff

So, funny story. I showed my fingernail situation to Erin at the end of the night and she's like, "Are you sure that isn't a splinter?" So I look at what I thought I caught my nail on, the rod in our closet, and sure enough, there's some splinter-y business going on there. Then I looked more closely at my nail and yep, I actually had a big old flat piece of wood veneer slivered under my nail. Good times!! After much hemming and hawing and a few slugs of whiskey the splinter is now hopefully completely removed and I am hoping for a speedy recovery. 72 hours till go time! :/

I can't believe it's so soon! I'm nervous and excited!

Oh my GOD this is horrible. I hope your hand feels better soon! (btw, they sell topical anesthetic for canker sores which I've used in the past to numb my finger to get splinters out, maybe it's something you could try this weekend if ibuprofen or whatever isn't cutting it.)

It's SO soon! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

The Rigby says we can drop stuff off earlier if we like--anytime after 2 PM--and leave any gear we want on Friday night for use Saturday.

Just to confirm what was discussed in the main SF Live thread: I will be bringing four music stands from my church. If the Rigby already has two, I imagine that will be more than enough.

The music stands are of this general kind:

Cool, I left my shitty wire stand at home based on the promise of better stands being there. :)

That's great, thanks again Micah. So much better than shitty wire stands. The LED clip-on lights I'm bringing will work way better with your stands too. These are the lights:

Hey Micah, the two mentioned already were mine, not the Rigby's. Would you be able to bring 5-6 total just so all the ones there are yours and we don't have any mixups as far as whose stands are whose?

Update on my gear. Bringing an acoustic, a strat and a little frontman 25R for sitting in. Travelling light. So no 2x12 cabinet after all since no-one mentioned wanting to use it.

Oh, I forgot something, sorry! Some folks may want to use a device with a headphone jack to provide themselves with backing tracks. So another nice-to-have would be a cable to plug a headphone jack into the PA. Although tbh this hasn't actually been needed the past two years so probably not a big deal if something like that isn't available.
I used such a device in Berkeley. And I might be using one for the live fight if that’s available.

Does the acoustic have a pickup?

Yes, but it's a passive pickup with no tuner or battery. I have a clip on tuner, though. I'm sure the venue has a DI so it shouldn't be a problem.

I'll bring a small acoustic with a pickup (with built-in tuner) and a Fishman Loudbox Artist amp.

I left my church before I saw this request and won't be back before Sunday, sorry! But my stands are marked so I will know which ones they are.

Does anyone have a camera tripod they can bring to the Rigby? I have the video camera, but I think my tripod is at my practice space and I don't have time to pick it up before I leave.

I have two tiny tripods which I brought for the (hopeful) streaming setup, and I can probably eschew one of them, but I suspect that you need something bigger than that.
