Jojo Rabbit
This is destined to be a cult classic up there with Harold & Maude. It's taking flak from some reviewers for its flippant portrayal of Hitler, but you have to remember that this is about a ten-year old boy in Nazi Germany, and everything is seen through the lens of his half-formed understanding. Truly a brilliant film.

Re: Jojo Rabbit
Is on our list to watch with the kids this month. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
Taika Waititi is a gorgeous and delightful genius. If you haven't already, be sure to go find 'What We Do In The Shadows', and
'Hunt For The Wilderpeople'.

Some very young children might be upset by. . .
and the scene where Jojo and his mom pass some people hung by the neck, and
Spoiler
the scene where a Nazi snaps the neck of a bunny rabbit. It''s not gory, but a cute bunny rabbit is killed.
Spoiler
the scene where Jojo discovers his mom hung by the neck. We see only her distinctive shoes.

Re: Jojo Rabbit
I loved this movie! Some of it might be intense for little kids, like @AJOwens mentioned. But yeah this was my favorite movie I've seen in a while, really funny and poignant and beautiful in a Wes Andersonish stylized way.
