Kindly Swears submitted Tricked For The Last Time as our first songfight rather than the optional 2003 sequel fight I’d initially thought would be cool to do until I read that it would be “ephemeral”. So the concept changed in the interest of permanence.
We are just negligent at completing new songs and even worse at having the discipline to self record. It was fun.

Well I wound up using as many old fight titles from that era in my lyrics, and my song sounds like a lo-fi demo of a song that got rejected from Follow the Leader so I think I at least got half of the optional challenge...

Not going to have a song for this fight, but just for the record, I did actually do the optional challenge! My song for June 20 2003 was "So Long Atticus" and my song for October 21, 2003 was "Foam Rubber," which is a sequel to Atticus.
