Secret Wars gave us Venom, and by extension, Carnage. That alien symbiote shit be spooky. At one time I had all 12 of the secret wars. They're probably moldering away in my parents' attic now.

Secret Wars also led to She Hulk in the Fantastic 4. Plus the assortment of villians were crappy (other than Doom & Galactus). Molecule Man, the Wrecking Crew, Enchantress, Absorbing Man, Kang, Lizard and Doc Ock...this does not sound like the line up for the best crossover ever.

But a great night out for drinking stories ... 'did I ever tell you how Hawkeye whooped my ass with his cream-of-tomato arrow?'

Oh darling, one doesn't kiss and tell. [/louche]

Actually, on my list is episode 2 of DJ Goodtime Johnny. I even scripted it this time.

And also on my list (to drag this back on topic) is helping out the screwed. I started doing a song off someone's list last night, but should I just claim it as my own or is Niv going to pm people with who they're gonna do?

Despite the no-fi production (workplace recording....the next one will be clearer), what does everyone think of the idea of a weekly SF News show? Should I continue making TWIS every week?

it was a fun show to listen to, the main problem would be the voice recording :)

Great show, Jack!

Look for a new TWIS later today as hosted by Nataly K of x-tokyo. (Depending on whenever the new fights and results are posted)

Works in WMP too, Jack ...

I am hoping to record a new Goodtime Johnny show tomorrow, introducing GTJ's gimp assistant Gunther. Be wary.

Hey Henrietta - I'm not getting your links in WMP - the songs play, but the in-between links come up as broken ... :(

Also, I am an acoustic god, and am disappointed not to feature in your top ten :)

hm. i tested it and it plays good for me in realplayer. i notice it has a long ID3 tag so i'll change it and see if that makes a difference.
