Dunno if this is international news, but Paul Hester (drummer for Crowded House and Split Enz) was found dead on the weekend in a park in Melbourne.
Total bummer - he was a genuinely funny bloke.

I got asked about it this morning,(employees often ask me to google stuff for them Crowded House was quite popular in Canada back in their day... probably because their interviews on MuchMusic were so damn entertaining... sad to see... the rumour of him being found hanging from a tree... didn't appear to be true by the article I read on it.
